SAVING THE CONNOR-HODGES HOUSE
In honor if Preservation Month, we are launching a campaign to save and restore the Connor-Hodges House of Cokesbury, SC.
Built in 1850 by Francis Connor, the first president of the Masonic College of Cokesbury, this beautiful Greek Revival home has fallen into disrepair. It still retains its original structure and architectural features, as well as being placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
This campaign is setup to raise funds to save, restore and preserve this home. All funds raised will be directly used for this project. Once the work is complete, the house will be reused into the community during certain times of the year. Proceeds from the use of the home will go towards its maintaince and upkeep.
The goal is to ensure this house never goes abandoned again and once again finds new life within the community.
