Audicinal hasn't added a story.
The Story
In Every Universe is a queer romance microfiction audio drama that spans across multiple genres. A and Z meet each other over and over again, across different times and places and lives. We have royalty and arranged marriages; we have monsters in a spaceship; we have superheroes, pirates, cowgirls, and more!
In Every Universe features a couple which is sometimes technically straight, sometimes outright queer, but always inherently queer; and it features a polyamorous relationship! I haven't see nearly enough (if any?) polyamorous relationships in audio dramas, so here we are to change that.
There will be ten episodes, each approximately 5-10 minutes long, to complete the story in full.
If our crowdfunding is successful, you can expect to see the finished product sometime around August 2025—maybe sooner!
Why Are We Crowdfunding This AD?
It's not the longest of my audio dramas so far, nor does it have the most characters, or words. In fact, it's (relatively) short. However, it is very intensive; we ask quite a lot of our amazing voice actors, who are doing a slightly (sometimes not-so-slightly) different voice for each reincarnation of the main characters!
Z's voice actor called it "the ultimate voice-acting exercise," and he's right! They're really stretching their VA muscles with this one, and they deserve fair compensation for it.
Not to mention, the sound design will require a lot of doing, with all the different genres and settings... which means I'll have to do a lot more work than I do with my other ADs, and I'll need access to different sound banks.
I really think this show has the potential to be amazing. You can help make it so!
Your Part
If you want to see this show come to life, we're going to need your help.
A little over 67% of our budget goes to paying our voice actors (the why can be found above). The rest goes to reward fulfillment, advertising, and fees. A small bit goes to me, because one of the VAs wouldn't accept payment without ensuring I got paid too. What a dear. (You can see a slightly more in-depth analysis on the Budget tab.)
We want to make this story. If we can't fund it, we'll still make it... but it will take longer, and might not boast the same quality as a funded show due to time constraints and sound design budget limitations. With your contributions, we can pay our volunteers for their time, buy the sound banks and software required, and make sure everyone involved is satisfied.
Because we intend to make this story happen no matter what, we've chosen the Keep-It-All funding method. If we make some of the money but not all, we'll still pay the voice actors as much as we have available, but it will definitely be less than if we were fully funded, and this will impact the show's timeline.
If you can't contribute monetarily, that's okay; you can still support the show! Word of mouth is the best way to spread podcasts you love, and this podcast is no exception. Share this campaign with your friends to help us get this story up and running.
We know we couldn't do this without your support. We hope more than anything to provide you with a stunning audio drama that will stick with you and, most importantly, entertain you!
I love the audio drama community, and I'm so happy to be contributing to it. Viva la audio drama!
If you contribute in exchange for a physical reward or the custom art, you should receive that reward sometime June-July 2025.

We're aiming to pay our voice actors $2 per line, at a minimum of
$25. We'd like to pay them more, and if we raise anything extra, we
will! The rest of the money goes to advertising (this is the least
important part of the budget, so it'll be the first to go if we don't
meet our goal), a co-composer and sound effects, a small bit for
myself (thank you Louisa for insisting you wouldn't let me pay you
without me paying myself something too), crowdfunder fees, and reward
fulfillment (gotta pay for those CDs somehow). Here's a fancy chart to
show where all that money is going. As
you can see, we're mostly paying for voice acting here. Because voice
acting is hard as hell, and deserves compensation! There's also a
small portion set aside for advertising (and by small I mean very
small, but if we raise extra, part of that will go to advertising too).
Worried about the sound design budget?
I'm the sound designer (and writer), and while I would love to pay myself more, I kind of can't. I'm disabled, and the government sucks! But I am more than happy to do this as a labor of love.
Curious about how this will show up in your statements?
It should show up as WTR CF, which stands for Wags to Riches Crowdfunding; this whole thing is sponsored and handled by my mother's local business, Wags to Riches!
That about covers it!
Casting
Wondering who to expect as the stars of the show? Here are the leads!
Playing the part of A is Cadey Elise, who you may recognize from the Youtube channel Goosebumps Audiobooks. She's new to the VA scene but has a lot of talent, and I think you'll love her stunning performance as A!
You might have heard of Perry Hall (Tairam in Apocalypse Radio, Tegot in The Soulmate Quest, Pip in Lumi's Tale). He's an amazing VA with a fantastic range of voices, and I know he'll bring the character of Z to life.
And finally, playing C, is Louisa Stabenow, known for her stage work (Ginny, the lead in Artist Descending a Staircase) but quickly moving into the world of voice acting (Emma, the lead in The Soulmate Quest). She's an amazing voice actor, and I have no doubt that she'll breathe life into the character of C.
As for supporting roles...
Playing
several parts, we have Xacio (zay-she-oh), who you might have heard as
Ainn in The Soulmate Quest! He's pretty new to the game, but he's a
stellar voice actor; he'll help bring this world to life!
And
finally, myself, playing some supporting roles as well as writing the
whole thing and doing the sound editing! You might recognize me as the
creator of Apocalypse Radio and The Soulmate Quest. If you liked those
shows, I'm sure you'll like this one!
